I cannot reply outside the quote box. This is a new paragraph with two returns. Anothger new paragraph with two returns. Also, the font and symbol selecction that used to be there is gone. Bruce[/quote]
it seems that the test does show up outside the quote box, although while you type, it shows to be inside Bruce
I un-installed IE8 and everything seems to be the way it was.

I don't know enough about IE8 to know about what setting may need to be changed to allow paragraphs here, but it may be an easy fix. For now, I will stick with IE7. I should add this is conjunction with Vista.
