Honestly I am surprised that anyone would buy an LED replacement at this time for a T8 or T12 tube. The only two reasons I can think of would be lamp life and no mercury. On the long life most manufactures are overdriving the LED tube replacements and there is no good way to heat sink them so they tend to not last that long. We have tried about a 1/2 dozen different tubes around campus and ALL have failed in less than 6 months. Also they put out less light and consume just a bit less power, granted a lot of the power is the ballast be it electronic or other, the ballast can't really adjust for the lower consumption of the LED and again they put out less light then a standard T8 32w.

I do believe at some point this will make since, but in my experience, not yet. The lumen to watt ratio on T8's is pretty darn high and the LED's are already at a disadvantage since they are using a fluorescent ballast.

You need to get a salesperson here to show the showrooms and get some showroom support.  I know in my showroom we sell what we show, and when a lightin representative brings in a sample and we like it he'll often times leave us a display.  Do you have a North American distributor?

I dont know what Led T8 tube you buy, do they have a heat sink?

Another thing is that ,does it SMD led or DIP LED?

With this heat sink, it can enlong Led T8 tube lifespan very much.

We have tested that, if the LED T8 Tube light 1000hours continuously, it only have 8.96% lumen decrease.

Actually, the only problem we think is the price, but if you consider saving energy and long lifespan ,the market will be large.

I have to admit that the ballast really consume the power, but if there is a new project, there will be no problem

Another thing, even there is a ballast, it can save energy than fluorescent tube.

My company's experiments with LED replacement tubes are the same as yours.  Not ready for prime time. 

Fixtures designed around LED technology give better aesthetic results and better life, but are really expensive compared to normal T8 fixtures, with minimal, if any, energy savings for the same lumen output.
