Greetings, I am building a house in southern Indiana. Water is a problem. We do have a spring on the farm, but it is 2500 feet from the house. I am looking into running a 3/4 inch water line from the spring to our house. There is, of course, no power in the area. The total elevation gain is about 10 feet, but at one point the water line will be about 60 feet above the spring pump. This system will fill a sistern near the house. Can anyone recommend a 110V high efficiency AC pump? I need: 1 gpm (or less) 1 amp (or less) at 110V AC able to push at least 60 feet elevation I have found a 24VDC 3 amp pump, but this would require a transformer power supply at the spring. Thanks!
The elevation change in regards to the pump is only between the start and end the line can do whatever elevation changes the pump only cares about end to end elevation change.
Most pumps are pretty efficient your losses will be the 2500 feet of 3/4 inch line.
