I have a question for a knowledgeable person regarding how to supply solar power to an amplifier.  How many solar panels, batteries, and other devices would be needed to run an anmplifier that is 150watts, 120V-60hz which has a plug (in other words would I still be able to plug in the ampllifier)?

Have you tested the amp to see what the current draw is going to be ? This will be a large factor in the configuration of batteries and solar panels. Will the amp only be used during the day or will there be night use to ? What type of amp is being used, tube, solid state ? What is your budget or ball park?
If you have a large area and some wind you be able to also use a small wind generator ?

Buy a device called "Kill-A-Watt" and measure the power draw with typical music.  Then buy solar panels and an inverter rated at about twice the power the amp uses.
