I"m converting a small (500 sq ft) older clear span one floor building into a 3 room apartment for an elderly relative.  I intend to put in radiant heat for her comfort and plan a above floor sandwich system.     For simplification and ease of installation can I put down the tubing before erecting the 2 partitions and neglect room zones?     Can I get away with putting some Kit cabinets on top of tubing?    Building is well insulated including under the floor.    Heat loss calcs based  one large area.    Great forum and thanks in advance for any comments.

I assume that "sandwich" means "hydronic sandwich".
There are two people that post answers on this forum that sell aluminum panels for aiding in heat transfer. Look for NRT.Rob and BlueRidge Company. Both have their own web sites.

What will the heat source be?

Zoning refers to thermostat. One should be enough. Basement, weather, insulation, windows, fuel sources?

Hi,
We provide a lot of floor panel systems,
Yes you can place the walls later, keep in mind the pipes, it is obvious but keep them in mind, further If you use a floating wood floor or the like this is optimum, no nails! One zone/thermostat is fine. It is not a bad idea to map your cabinets, refrigerator and pantry areas out ahead and skip the pipe in those areas.
If you need assistance we are glad to help as needed,
Dan
